I am an artist living and working in Northwestern Pennsylvania. I began my artistic education at SUNY Fredonia, where I graduated with a BFA in both Photography and Illustration. I continued my education at Indiana University Bloomington where I obtained an MFA with a concentration in Photography.

My work often navigates the complexity of human relationships to the natural world. Driven by an urge to document, collect, and preserve, I often question humanities place within the animal kingdom in ways that celebrate its beauty and mystery while challenging the hierarchy of life forms in our culture. I explore these thoughts from multiple vantage points - photographic exploration, science-like observations, delicate assemblage, and illustrative studies.
